Top Reason You Should Have Kids Too

Some of my favorite things about having kids, at least in the 2 years that I've had them...

#1, my absolute number one favoritist most important thing is Scott.
Although I do enjoy making our sweet babies, that's not what I'm talking about here.
I mean getting to watch him with our girls, seeing him develop into this big strong manly man who goes out and is a big tough guy everyday, then sits on the couch at night and cuddles and sings "itsy bitsy spider" with a 2 year old.
Obviously I loved Scott before we had the girls and he was a great guy, but having kids has truly made him into the man he was meant to be.

#2
Personalities.
It is probably the most fun thing in the whole world to see the girls develop such strong and different personalities.
They keep me laughing, sometimes make me want to cry, occasionally inspire hair-ripping-out, and make super cute pictures.
Maddy has gained tons of independence and doesn't want help EVER unless daddy just got home from work.
Lillee is soft and chubby and cuddly and her main goal in life is to be held and loved on. Her eyes light up anytime she notices someone is watching her and she never misses a chance to smile at someone.

#3
Being the ultimate teacher.
Not only do I no longer have to go off to work every day (please don't comment on this...I know everyone has a opionion, but you're wrong.)
that was a joke, y'all.
Anyway, not only do I get to stay home with my girls, but I also get to be the one who teaches them.
I get to see Lillee's excitement when she discovers that those hand things can quickly delivre snakcs to her mouth without waiting on mommy.
I watch Maddy attempt to write something that ends up looking like the pen exploded.
I get to teach Maddy "the itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out. SPLAT!"
Scott gets sent off to work with Maddy saying "bye bye dad, have a good day" and quickly slamming the door shut, whether Dad is totally out or not.

#5
I teach my kids to count real good-like.
1-2-3-5
or as Maddy counts "wannn-teeeeeewwww-shwan-toooo-won-shfoo"

#4 (I figured I better make up for skipping it between 3 and 5)
It's ok to be chubby, and people still think I'm cute.
Heck, Scott still thinks I'm sexy.
I mean, it may be qualified by the phrase "for having two kids", but who cares.
"you look good for having two kids" is better than "o-em-gee Kimb is so chubby. She needs to lay off the cheeseburgers".
Thanks Moo and Chunk, you make a muffin top acceptable:)

THe Sixth Day of Maddy

The 6th day of Maddy was wild.
We had 35 people show up to celebrate with us.
We had some delicious foods.
Lots of chirruns ran around wreaking havoc.
Maddy got tons of fun stuffs.
Lillee got lots of lovin'.
I think I gained a few pounds from eating tortilla roll ups.
Maddy learned a lot of new words. It's like magic. All of a sudden she's 2 and she speaks english.

Toward the end of the party, Maddy's hair was worn out.
 And Maddy was worn out.
She spent lots of time with Daddy, ripping decorations off the ceiling.
And she was thrilled with her gifts. She made this face every time she opened something.

I didn't get to take any pictures and I'm still waiting on pictures from all the peeps, so I'll have to do an update later.

Overall, Maddys birthday was fantastic and our thanks go to all of the people who came and celebrate and showered Maddy with gifts. She is a very blessed girl to have so much love.
